The Co-Design and Engagement Branch supports all Agency policies and initiatives requiring a co-design approach. You will join the Delivery Team, working collaboratively across the sector to ensure the perspectives of the disability community are represented and that participants have a say in their NDIS.

About your new role

The APS 6 community engagement officer will have a considerable level of public contact in relation to complex, difficult or sensitive issues. It is required to liaise with a range of internal and external stakeholders in a representational role on behalf of the branch

  • Contributing to the development and monitoring of targeted engagement strategies aligned with the Corporate Plan.
  • Building strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to facilitate participation in forums, conferences, and webinars.
  • Designing and delivering engagement sessions and co-designing specific projects.
  • Coordinating critical data analysis and feedback to measure the effectiveness of engagement activities and identify risks or trends.
  • Supervising a team, managing resources, and contributing to business improvement strategies.

What we need from you

  • Full drivers license
  • Ability to drive to external locations (including remote areas) and navigate uneven terrain (steps, stairs, unsealed roads).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM systems.
  • Mandatory Clearances:
    • Working with Children Check (or ability to obtain one)
    • NDIS Worker Screening Check (or ability to obtain one)
    • Pre-Engagement Security Check (or ability to obtain one)
    • Ability to obtain AGSVA clearance if required
